Meru Creatives protest wave of studio break-ins, demand action from police and DCI

Photographers, videographers, and other creatives in Meru staged protests over a surge in studio break-ins, accusing police and the DCI of failing to act decisively. The group reported that more than five studios have been raided in recent months by the same suspects, with thieves targeting expensive equipment such as cameras, lenses, studio lighting, and editing computers. They warned that the repeated incidents were crippling the local creative industry and leaving many young people jobless.
