Meru County Deputy Governor Isaac Mutuma is set to take oath of office on Monday as the county Governor after the high court upheld the impeachment of Kawira Mwangaza by the senate. The swearing in ceremony of Mutuma scheduled for Monday could end Kawira political career as the Governor of Meru that has been characterized by political upheaval. A gazette notice scheduling the swearing in of her deputy on Monday March 17, 2025, at Mwendantu Grounds has since being published.
