A section of stakeholders in Embu county has raised concerns over increased cases of suicide in the area and called for concerted efforts from relevant bodies in addressing matters of mental health. This clarion call was made following the death of a 38-year-old Mike Jackson Murithi on Sunday morning in what is believed to be as a result of suicide.
