The Ministry of Education is racing against time to conduct public participation across the country to meet court ruling demands. Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos confirmed that his ministry has been working on a comprehensive report since October 2023, which will inform the next steps for implementing the university funding model. In a related development, Basic Education Principal Secretary Prof. Amb Julius Bitok confirmed that the ministry will appeal a High Court ruling that declared the directive requiring parents to pay school fees through the e-Citizen platform unconstitutional.
