    After Eleven years, the United Nation mission in Mali is officially over. While Minusma troops were withdrawn last December, a smaller team stayed behind to oversee the removal of UN-owned infrastructure and appropriate disposal of its equipment. The mission is one of the deadliest and is widely considered to have failed.
