Msemaji wa Iraq asema shambulizi la Marekani 'ni mauaji dhahiri'
Iraq siku ya Alhamisi imeikosoa vikali shambulizi lililofanywa na droni ya Marekani ambalo jeshi lake lilisema limemuua kiongozi wa kikundi cha wanamgambo kinachoungwa mkono na Iran.
Msemaji wa Iraqi ameliita shambulizi hilo “ni mauaji dhahiri” ambayo yanaonyesha “kutothamini maisha ya raia au sheria za kimataifa.”
Yehia Rasool, msemaji wa waziri mkuu wa Iraqi, alisema kuwa ushirika unaongozwa na Marekani ambao umekuwa na operesheni nchini Iraq kukabiliana na kikundi cha Islamic State “mara kwa mara imekwenda kinyume na sababu na malengo ya uwepo wake katika eneo letu.”
“Mwelekeo huo unailazimisha serikali ya Iraqi kuchukua hatua kuliko wakati wowote mwengine kusitisha kazi ya ushirika huu, ambayo imekuwa ni sababu ya kutokuwepo utulivu na kutishia kuingiza Iraq katika wimbi la vita,” Rasool alisema katika taarifa yake.
Kamandi Kuu ya Marekani, ambayo inasimamia operesheni za kijeshi za Marekani katika Mashariki ya Kati, ilisema kuwa shambulizi la Jumanne lililomuua kamanda wa kikundi cha wanamgambo Kataib Hezbollah ambaye “alihusika moja kwa moja kupanga na kushiriki katika mashambulizi dhidi ya majeshi ya Marekani katika kanda hiyo.”
Maafisa wawili wa Marekani wamethibitishia VOA kuwa kamanda huyo alikuwa ni afisa wa operesheni Wisam Mohammad al-Saedi. Picha katika mitandao ya kijamii zilidai kuonyesha kitambulisho chake cha Iraqi ambacho kilichomolewa kutoka katika mwili wake.
VOA mapema iliripoti kuwa jeshi la Marekani lilikuwa limehusika katika shambulizi la anga dhidi ya lengo lenye umuhimu wa juu katika Mashariki ya Kati lakini ilikuwa haijamtambua al-Saedi kwa jina lake.
Kanda ya video iliyokuwa imesambazwa katika mitandao ya kijamii inaonyesha gari moja lililokuwa linawaka moto katika barabara kuu ya Baghdad.
Shambulizi la Marekani lilikuwa kulipiza kisasi mashambulizi takriban ya droni 170, roketi na makombora yaliyotekelezwa dhidi ya majeshi ya Marekani huko Mashariki ya Kati tangu katikati ya Oktoba, mojawapo liliuwa wanajeshi watatu wa Marekani na kujeruhi wengine zaidi ya darzeni kaskazini ya Jordan wiki iliyopita.
