Former Attorney-General and Umoja na Haki Democratic Party leader Justin Muturi has raised serious concerns ahead of the November 27, 2025 Mbeere North parliamentary by-election, accusing the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) of orchestrating voter bribery, intimidation, and interference with the electoral process. On an X post dated November 21, 2025, Muturi stated that the schemes to corrupt the by-election were no longer rumors, describing them as “orchestrated, financed and deployed” with goons being imported, voters bribed, and citizens threatened.
