My Confession: My in-laws rejected me because I gave birth to a special needs child
Grace Nyakio had a promising married life, but life took a turn after she gave birth to her third born son. The baby suffered Meningitis at the age of six months and developed other conditions that made him live with disability. Three years down the line, her mother in- law became hostile, turned against her and chased her away. Jobless and helpless, she returned to her parents with the burden of shouldering her son’s medication. She now calls for well-wishers to step in and support her as the burden of getting 2000 every week for her son’s medication is taking toll on her.
