The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) has kicked off a five-day sensitization roadshow in Laikipia, aiming to dissuade young people from the dangers of drug and substance abuse. Speaking in Nanyuki during the official launch on Monday, NACADA’s Rift Valley regional coordinator, Andrew Githui, revealed that young adults aged between 25 and 35 years are the most affected by drug addiction. Laikipia-based anti-drug activist Boniface Nyamu emphasized the need for a drug-free community, noting that raising public awareness is key to tackling the menace.
