Nakuru residents demand the release of Brian Odhiambo

Irate residents set ablaze the Lake Nakuru National Park as protests to demand the immediate release of a local fisherman Brian Odhiambo entered day 5 today. Several students of Kimathi Secondary school were also rushed to hospital for treatment after they were affected by the lethal teargas canisters that had been lobbed by security officers to disperse the demonstrators. Odhiambo has been missing since Saturday with the residents alleging that he was last seen being roughed up and taken away by Kenya Wildlife Service officers.
