The National Assembly has approved the nomination for appointment of former governors William Kabogo and Lee Kinyanjui and former minister Mutahi Kagwe as cabinet secretaries. MPs while adopting the report of the committee on appointments expressed confidence the three nominees will add value to the national executive given their rich experience in public service. The house also approved the appointment of former deputy inspector general Noor Gabow and former cabinet secretaries Andrew Karanja and Ababu Namwamba as envoys.
