In a move that could spell trouble for agriculture Cs Mithika Linturi, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula has today approved a motion proposed by Bumula MP Jack Wamboka to impeach the embattled cs. Linturi has been in the eye of the storm since the emergence of the fake fertilizer scandal. There have been calls for the CS to resign and the impeachment is considered a potentially consequential moment for Linturi. The members are now scheduled to debate the motion on Thursday.
