The National Heroes Council will forge collaborations with the county governments through the Council of governors for stronger partnerships with the view to honor and recognize national Heroes and Heroines in their respective regions. Speaking in Elgeyo Marakwet County during an occasion attended by local leaders and residents to present a certificate and medal to the family of the late marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum the Council said that the move will also inspire future generations to strive for greatness.
