The National Police Service has scaled up its response to mental health challenges following the roll out of a psychosocial support program. Inspector General of police Douglas Kanja launching the training program said the platform will offer an opportunity for those in police service to receive timely counseling services whenever they face traumatic events while in the line of duty. This as the IG read the riot act to perpetrators of femicide following an influx in such cases.
