A group of Early Childhood Development and Education teachers in Nyamira County want the ministry of education and the county government of Nyamira to renew their contracts which were terminated between 2020 and 2022 on account of age. The teachers, said they pursued further education with hopes of securing permanent employment or long-term contracts. According to them other counties have renewed the contracts of teachers above 45 years.
