A section of political leaders from Nyanza region led by Suna East Member Of Parliament Junet Mohammed have affirmed their support to President William Ruto’s administration citing that the nation can actively progress without having an active opposition leadership. Speaking during a function in Nyatike Migori County , former Nyatike Member Of Parliament Edick Anyanga said that the collaboration between the opposition and the government has helped reduce political tension, which he claims has fostered peace and stability in the country. Junet also dismissed impeached deputy president Rigathi Gachagua's call for a strong opposition.
