Orange Democratic Movement party officials in Magarini constituency, Kilifi County have given Harrison Kombe a direct nomination to contest in the upcoming by-election in a bid to reclaim the party’s victory.Led by Magarini ODM Chairperson Justin Baya, the officials dismissed calls for party nominations asserting that the immediate former MP had already secured the party nomination to contest the August 2022 general election. Kombe who lost his seat after the high court and court of appeal nullified his election due to irregularities will be seeking to defend the seat against United Democratic Alliance Party candidate Stanley Kenga.
