The High Court has ruled that former Migori governor Okoth Obado, his assistant Michael Oyamo and a third accused Caspal Obiero have a case to answer in the 2018 murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno. They will now be put on their defence in the first count. Delivering the ruling virtually Justice Cecilia Githua has however acquitted the trio on the second charge of murdering the unborn baby of Sharon.
