The four-day qualifying school event has a prize kitty of one million shillings, and will also award players with sunshine tour cards for the 2025-2026 season. The top ten finishers at the great rift tournament will earn invitations to play at the sunshine tour final stage qualifier in johannesburg, south africa from the 8th to the 11th of april.
Confirmed players for the qualifying school event are Mutahi Kibugu, Njoroge Kibugu, Alfred Nandwa, Michael Karanga, Mike Kisia, David Wakhu, Erick Ooko, Greg snow and Riz Charania.
The event has also attracted participants from Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and Rwanda. The qualifying school event is a mandatory pre-requisite for earning official world golf ranking points on the east Africa swing and a pathway to Olympic games qualification.
