A section of parents and leaders in Tana Delta is calling for the re-evaluation of the Competence Based Curriculum education program claiming that it is financially straining rural families in the area.The locals claimed that many schools in the area were struggling to implement the CBC system of education due to lack of enough infrastructure for junior secondary schools and inadequate personnel compelling them to be dependent on projects funded by the National Government Constituency Development Fund.
