President William Ruto has today presided over the first ever bonus payment to sugar cane farmers in Mumias East Constituency, Kakamega County, paying out sh150 million of bonusses to the farmers after the Mumias Sugar factory was revived. Speaking during the event, Ruto called on leaders to avoid populist politics and focus on development to the people.
