Prison Reforms Underway as MPs Eye New Laws, Health Priorities

In a move aimed at aligning Kenya’s correctional services with the 2010 Constitution, the National Assembly’s Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee has toured Malindi and Kilifi prisons. The lawmakers say the reforms will also borrow from international best practices.
