The government service digital platform e-citizen continues to gain recognition for its efficiency and innovation in service delivery. The platform has seen the number of Kenyans accessing service online expanded exponentially from just 394 in 2022 to over 22,000 government services today. According to the Principal Secretary for Immigration and Citizen Services, Ambassador Professor Julius Bitok the platform has streamlined efficiency while plugging leaks in revenue collection. Among the busiest departments are the National Transport and Safety Authority, followed by immigration and the Kenya Wildlife Service.
