PS Kisiang’ani : Review of cybercrime law won’t curtail freedom of expression

Broadcasting and Telecommunications Principal Secretary Prof. Edward Kisiang’ani has assured Kenyans freedom of expression will not be curtailed through the ongoing review of the cyber crime law. Appearing before the National Assembly Communications and Information Committee over the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crime Amendment Bill, Prof. Kisiangani allayed fears that the review of the cyber security law is a kneejerk reaction to deal with Kenyans criticism of the government online.
