Azimio la Umoja Leader Raila Odinga has called for the immediate resignation and prosecution of Energy CS Davis Chirchir and Treasury CS Njuguna Ndung'u over what he described as their alleged involvement in the controversial Sh17 billion oil deal. Raila has accused the two CSs of illegally withdrawing money from the Consolidated Fund under the guise of financing unnamed private financial entities. Raila has poured cold water on the government’s G-2- G oil claiming that it was a a well orchestrated corruption plan to withdraw money illegaly from the exchequer.
