Hafla hiyo iliyoandaliwa na rais Samia Suluhu Hassan ilifanyika katika uwanja wa kitaifa wa Uhuru, jijini Dar es Salaam na kuhudhuriwa na viongozi wengine wa nchi na serikali kutoka Jumuiya ya maendeleo ya eneo la Kusini mwa Afrika na Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki. Kisha Rais Ruto ataelekea nchini Zimbabwe kwa ziara rasmi ya siku mbili. Ziara hiyo inalenga kuimarisha uhusiano wa kisiasa, kiuchumi, kijamii na kitamaduni kati ya nchi hizo mbili. Akiwa nchini Zimbabwe Rais Ruto atakuwa mgeni wa heshima katika maonesho ya 64 ya kimataifa ya biashara ya Zimbabwe huko Bulawayo.
