The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission selection panel has assured the country that there will be a new electoral commission in office by the end of April quelling fears of a constitutional crisis. The Nelson Makanda-led selection panel noted that over 300 people had so far applied for positions as Commissioners ahead of the 15th February 2025 deadline. Giverson Maina reports
