Ruto, Duale defend digital shift in public procurement

Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has backed President William Ruto’s firm stance on the adoption of e-procurement, saying the shift from manual to digital transactions will help seal corruption loopholes in government dealings. Duale noted that the state loses up to 40 per cent of resources in public procurement due to graft and pilferage, adding that embracing electronic systems was the only way to stop the rot.
