President William Ruto’s senior economic advisor David Ndii has dispelled the notion that government could be seeking to lower taxes for Kenyans anytime soon. Ndii who was speaking during the ncba economic forum notes that as long as Kenyan is still in the imf program cutting taxes will be a pipe dream. His sentiment coming amid the re introduction of aspect of the finance bill as goverment seeks to raise at least 174 billion shillings. Ndii however notes that the government is working on implementing key reforms aimed at spreading the tax burden which he says falls un-propotionally on salaried Kenyans
