The pastoralist communities of Gabra and Dasanach in Dukana and Illeret area in North Horr Constituency, Marsabit County have agreed to end decades of inter-ethnic conflicts and coexist peacefully.Speaking during a two-day soccer tournament at Illeret, that brought together at least six soccer teams from both communities, Dasanach Peace Committee Elder, Mike Kesho, praised the use of sports as a tool to advocate for peace and social integration. North Horr MP Wario Guyo Adhe, who spearheaded the final phase of the peacebuilding process, urged the public to uphold and foster this newfound peace.
