Stakeholders call for increased funding for the training of youth on filmmaking

FilmAid Kenya Executive Director Stella Suge is calling for increased funding for the training of youth on filmmaking to enhance integration between refugees and their host communities through storytelling. She lamented that decreased funding is straining the equipping of the youth with storytelling skills and linking them to jobs. She was speaking in Nairobi at the final gala night of the 18th FilmAid Film Festival that crowned six-day event at Kakuma, Dadaab and Kalobeyei refugee camps.
