Kiambu County Government is leveraging on quality health care services after it embarked on a 7.6 billion shillings project to construct 6 level four and 26 level three hospitals, which are 90 per cent complete. Another 2 billion shillings will be used to equip the new facilities which are Thogoto, Lari, Karuri, Juja, Wangige, and Bibirioni, with a further 2 billion shillings used to purchase equipment for existing public facilities. Speaking after launching new medical equipment at the county’s headquarters, Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi, assured locals of quality services by ensuring hospitals are fully equipped and operational.
