Stakeholders from both the health and human rights sector have raised concern over alarming cases of teenage pregnancies in Laikipia County. Speaking in Nanyuki during a 10 kilometer run organized by Binti Mwangaza, a community based organization in Nanyuki, the stakeholders revealed that 20,000 pregnancies are recorded annually with more than 6,000 affecting teenage girls.
