Tana River clashes: Gov Dhadho and Galole MP Hiirbae released

Community leaders in Tana River County have hailed the government for swift action that managed to contain the ethnic clashes in Tana North, that led to the killing of 19 people. This, as calls abound for the state to apprehend other perpetrators who incited communities into violence leading to loss of lives. Tana River Governor Dhadho Godhana, alongside Galole Member of National Assembly Hiribae Said Buya and a host of other leaders who were arrested in connection with the inter-clan clashes were released on Sunday
