The Technical University of Kenya non-teaching staff have joined the lecturers in a strike. The non-teaching staff have protested delays in their salaries amongst other grievances. This happens 5 days after tuk lecturers went on a strike citing lack of salaries. The non teaching staff want the relevant ministries and the institution to hear their pleas and offer solutions. Striking lecturers expressed support for their fellow members of staff and declared that learningfor students will not resume despite looming exams. They said no exams would be prepared for the students or issued.
