Samuel Mutisya, Deputy County Commissioner - Kilifi County: We are responsible for maintaining security in Kilifi, and as National Government Administrative Officers, our role is to promote strong inter-community relations and ensure peaceful coexistence among all communities. We encourage dialogue whenever disputes arise and chair various security committees that work across different sectors of government to foster unity and stability.
While there are challenges in peacekeeping, it is through open discussions and cooperation that we can resolve the disputes we encounter. Citizens also have an important role — to guide us, share their concerns, and help us identify areas where we can improve to sustain peace.
