Former Cabinet minister Raphael Tuju wants the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate five Supreme Court judges for alleged bias in a case involving a property dispute. Tuju says Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu, and Justices Mohammed Ibrahim, Smokin Wanjala, Njoki Ndung’u and William Ouko had a predetermined outcome when they recused themselves and reinstated the decision of the court of appeal that paved the way for auctioning of his hotel for failing to settle 4.5 billion shillings debt he owes the East African Development Bank. However, EACC chief executive officer Abdi Mohamud says the commission is yet to receive Tuju’s petition.
