Drama ensued at the Orange Democratic Movement party offices in Kilifi town, Kilifi County when two rival groups clashed over the youth leadership position in the County. Trouble started when one faction assembled at the party offices to declare Nyundo Mwamure as the Kilifi County youth party leader claiming that the current leadership had failed in its mandate.However, the move was thwarted by a section of youths allied to Humphrey Mwarandu who is the current youth party leader. The scuffle that went on for close to an hour was quelled by the police. Kilifi County Assembly Speaker Teddy Mwambire condemned the incident urging unity especially now that preparations for the Magarini Constituency by-elections seat are in top gear.
