Serikali ya Tanzania imewekeza zaidi ya shilingi bilioni 3.6 kwa ajili ya matibabu na operesheni za upandikizaji uloto ili kukabiliana na selimundu.
Tanzania inashika nafasi ya nne kidunia na ya tatu kwa Afrika kwa kuwa na idadi kubwa ya wagonjwa wa selimundu.
