Christine Kihara, the coordinator of nutritional services in Nakuru county, suggests that adopting kitchen gardening in these regions could help mothers meet the nutritional needs required for breastfeeding. This recommendation comes during World Breastfeeding Week, celebrated under the theme "closing the gap:
