About 20 youth and women groups in Bonchari Constituency have benefited from a financial empowerment program with a view of starting their businesses. The program spearheaded by the area legislator Charles Onchoke, mobilizes young people and women into registered groups, and is financed with 50,000 shillings to venture into entrepreneurship after training from two selected banks. Those with skills are assisted to secure job opportunities abroad. The MP says already 50 residents who have specialized in nursing have already qualified for employment abroad.
