Veteran politician and former Laikipia Member of Parliament Godfrey Gitahi “GG” Kariuki has been honoured posthumously for his outstanding contribution to education and community development. During a ceremony at Zetech University’s Mang’u Campus in Juja, Kiambu County, the institution unveiled a commemorative plaque and announced plans to establish the Hon. Dr G.G. Kariuki EGH Resource Centre in its main library. The university also introduced the Hon. Dr G.G. Kariuki Educational Excellence Award, which will annually recognize top Bachelor of Education students.
