Junior Secondary School teachers in Kwale have threatened to down their tools in January if the government does not meet their demands. The intern teachers want the government to confirm them by January next year. Led by the Kwale branch of the Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers Executive Secretary Leonard Oronje, , the teachers said they will not work for two years before being permanently employed as demanded by the government.
