The results for Grade 9 candidates who sat for the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment will be released on the 11th of December, 2025. Education principal secretary Prof Julius Bitok says the move is aimed at ensuring the learners adequately prepare to join grade 10 on the 12th of January 2026, a week after schools resume for 1st term. Our reporter Joseph Wakhungu has details of the education calendar in 2026, even as Bitok dismissed claims of plans to increase secondary school fees next year, maintaining that basic education remains free.
