Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko registers political party

Young people are being urged to register as voters to make their voices count at the ballot. The call came from the newly registered National Economic Development Party interim leader Mike Sonko. The party which received its interim registration certificate was formed by a group of professionals and will soon unveil its National Executive Council. The Registrar of Political Parties, John Lorionokou, who handed over the certificate, challenged political parties to uphold good governance and maintain peace at all times.
