National and county governments to enroll CHPs to SHA

The government will enroll all Community Health Promoters to the Social Health Authority SHA. This was resolved jointly during the national and county government Summit where both levels of government agreed to cater for the cost of health insurance for the Community Health Promoters even as they work on absorbing them on permanent and pensionable terms. Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki reading the communiqué after the daylong Summit also revealed National treasury will release the county funds for November by next week Thursday.
