The government plans to acquire land and construct a state-of-the-art Kenya film school campus equipped with a world-class theatre hall and modern studios with digital editing suites. Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya says the facility will also be equipped with soundproof stages, lecture rooms and administrative offices to nurture many talented young people who want to enter the world of cinematography. Mvurya, who presided over the 4th graduation ceremony of the school at Kasarani sports centre, said the Kenya film industry was growing, challenging young people to take up the opportunity.
