Calls to end violence against women and children continue to grow, as the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence comes to a close. In Migori County, a section of women under the Kenya Peasants League held a peace walk from Awendo town to Ulanda Trading Centre, raising awareness on GBV and other forms of abuse affecting girls, including teenage pregnancies, FGM and defilement.
