27 female inmates at the Meru Women's Government of Kenya Prison have graduated in various fields in a colourful ceremony, marking a significant milestone in their rehabilitation journey. The graduates expressed gratitude to the correctional service, Kenya Methodist University and Chandaria Foundation for the skills acquired, saying they will benefit them upon release. KeMu Vice Chancellor John Ataya stated that the university's partnership with the prison aims to empower individuals to change and become responsible members of society.
