CS Ruku accuses Gachagua of plotting violence

Public Service, Human Capital Development and Special Programmes Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku has accused DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua of planning to cause chaos and disruptions during the forthcoming Mbeere North by-election. Speaking during a public engagement forum in Mbeere North, CS Ruku alleged that Gachagua had hired goons from Githurai and other parts of Nairobi to create disturbances and later blame the unrest on the people of Mbeere North. Meanwhile, PNU party leader Peter Munya insists the opposition will remain united under a common purpose to oust the Kenya Kwanza government in 2027.
